Why are we runners so hard on ourselves?? :) I was going to say the same as Cait--you probably started to shut down around mile 10 because you were rockin' the pace!Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00794518757071471089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8036849222834711493.post-21594492244347006662012-10-11T15:57:15.866-07:002012-10-11T15:57:15.866-07:00Hey! I am really impressed with your pace, it seems like it was pretty consistent for such a long race! I hope you are doing well and I love that medal!A.J. It took me several half's before I hit the 1:40 mark.

The last few miles are always the hardest and when the wheels seem to fall off for me too. Having hills later in the course makes things even more challenging; it's really hard to hold pace on hills when you are already tired. AND, you still hit all of your miles under 8 min so you really didn't crash hard.

I didn't realize you got 2nd in your AG!! I hope you get a cool award!! Relish in the PR - all of your hard work has paid off :)Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05340924185821811736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8036849222834711493.post-55274805578030637942012-10-09T07:24:50.373-07:002012-10-09T07:24:50.373-07:00I know Austin can be hilly at times but maybe they...I know Austin can be hilly at times but maybe they just got to you on this race. It looks like you had a great race regardless of the issue you were having! Congrats!!The Unlikely Runnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17958085703652942651noreply@blogger.com
